I really appreciated this quaint cafe and the homey vibe. As a solo traveller, I've been always on the go and after walking for hours, I got to enjoy some peace and quiet and relax in this lovely cafe. Sure, the menu was limited, nonetheless it was enough to remove all tiredness before heading on to my next itinerary. I appreciated Oba-san who gave me a map of places to visit around the area. I myself was on my way to the Yamazaki Distillery museum that afternoon after my visit to the cafe. I especially enjoyed the homemade Zenzai (sweet red bean soup), which was really comforting, made by Obaa-san.

The food was delicious and the hosts were very nice. They took the time to chat with my friend and I about our trip even though we both only speak a little Japanese. It was my first time having Japanese sweet potato. I will remember eating here forever.

Get the sweet potatoe with your coffee. Nice to sit down after the distillery tour.
